Hey everybody!

It has been three years since I was a brand new student, fresh out of high school. I'm currently in my fourth year. I started this blog in an attempt to keep my family, friends and any prospective students up to date with my life at the University of Lethbridge. I'm continuing with it this year as it worked well. Thanks for reading!

November 23rd, 2012

So today was a VERY busy day! At 7 am I had to be up so I could register for all my classes. I got into all but 1, that one being a third year course so I wasn't really expecting to get into it first try. It wasn't too bad, I got to go back to bed after it. I am now in Managing Accounting, Research Methodology, Human Resources Management, Neuroscience Brain and Behavior. I still need to get into Managing Responsibly in a Global Environment. Next semester looks to be very study-orientated.

This afternoon was our D/E1 Reunion Potluck at Alicia & Veronica's place. I was the second to arrive, just after Cody (no surprise there!) I had to leave early but it was a lot of fun none the less. I brought Potato Casserole (Terista Still's recipe from back home) and it seemed to be a hit. Most of the girls were there, Amy, Allie, Cheyenne, etc. Ben came. Even Micheal came! We barely saw him at ALL last year but he came to the reunion potluck! It was so good to see everyone again. I wish more people could've come but it was good to see those who did.

The reason I had to leave early was because of the Fraternities annual Black Light Party. Kelly came to pick me up and we went over to Jocelyn's for some pre-gaming. It was hilarious! I love spending time with my sisters! For the blacklight party, everyone had to wear a white shirt that they were okay with people writing on. All the lights in the frat house had been replaced with black lights. So it was basically a giant party but there were highlighters circulating that you could write on people with. It was so much fun! Although, frat guys will be frat guys. They tried something that they dubbed "Stair Whiskey" and (only if you wanted!!!) when you came up the stairs from the basement, you could stand on the landing and they would try to pour straight whiskey from the upstairs into your mouth. I was definitely not dumb enough to try that! Everyone got a little rowdy but Alysha offered to be the DD so at least we didn't have to pay for a taxi home!
